Steam smoke · Steam smoke generator
Steam smoke generator
Steam-assisted smoke generation for high smoke density and individually matched process requirements.

HOW IT WORKS
The smoke principle in the process.
Wood chips and steam are combined in a controlled process. The result is high smoke density with precisely controlled smoke character.
- 01Process stepDose wood chips via screw conveyor
- 02Process stepGenerate smoke with steam assistance
- 03Process stepControl condensate and smoke path
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Specifically designed for actual operation.
Key features of this configuration
- 01Steam-assisted conversion of wood chips for particularly high smoke density.
- 02Automatic dosing and process-controlled smoke quantity for reproducible results.
- 03Robust stainless steel construction with easily accessible operating and cleaning areas.
- 04Smoke path, cleaning, extinguishing and safety functions are integrated into the project in a coordinated manner.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Generator, smoke path and safety planned together.
Every SORGO smoke generator is available as part of a new system or separately to modernise existing SORGO or other manufacturers' systems. Location, smoke path, controls, safety functions and cleaning are designed to suit the project.
Retrofitting & conversion
Separate delivery with dedicated SORGO sequence controller and a clear interface to the existing system.
Flexible positioning
Beside, above or below the system, or in a separate technical room.
Extinguishing & safety concept
Automatic protective sequences, including integrated extinguishing, are adapted to the smoke generator, installation and operational fire protection.
Automatic cleaning
The generator and relevant smoke paths are included in the cleaning sequence.
CONTROL & PROCESS DOCUMENTATION
SORGO SCS X1 – your processes under control.
Intuitive operation on a 15.6-inch industrial touchscreen, storable programmes and precise process control. Also discover SORGO INSPECT for central documentation and optional remote operation via smartphone or tablet.
The SCS X1 controls the sequences associated with each smoke generator configuration. For retrofits, interfaces and functional scope are defined for each project.
