Accessing the website

Technically necessary access data may be processed when you visit the website. This serves secure and stable provision on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Hosting and technical operation

This website is provided through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites. OpenAI uses Cloudflare as a sub-processor for technical delivery and hosting.

The technical operation of the website is separate from our optional visitor statistics. Even if you allow only necessary functions, the connection and access data required to operate and secure the website are processed.

ChatGPT Sites currently does not offer guaranteed data residency. Processing exclusively in Austria or the European Economic Area is therefore not guaranteed.

Contact and enquiry forms

You can contact SORGO by telephone, email, the project configurator or the used equipment form. We process the information you provide, such as name, company, email address, telephone number, desired system, product and project details and your message, to answer the enquiry, prepare quotations and clarify questions.

When you submit either website form, your details are processed by the website server and sent by email to office@sorgo.at via Microsoft 365. You do not need your own email application. Name, company and email address are required; your email address is used as the reply-to address. Form contents are not stored in the website database. To protect against abuse, this database only counts sending attempts per hour, without IP addresses or visitor identifiers.

For an enquiry concerning a contract with you personally, processing serves pre-contractual measures or contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general enquiries or enquiries from company contacts, it is based on the legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Without a usable means of contact, we cannot reply.

Cookies and analytics

The website stores your privacy choice for six months in the technically necessary sorgo_consent cookie. Only after your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) does our own statistics system count page views by page, calendar day, referring website and country. URL parameters, IP addresses and persistent visitor identifiers are not stored in these statistics. Analysis uses no advertising profiles or external analytics services. You can withdraw consent for future visits at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Portals

Technically necessary authentication and security cookies may be used for protected customer, sales and administration areas. These are required for login, access protection and session management and are not used for advertising.

Retention period

Information from enquiries is retained for as long as required to process them and, where applicable, for the subsequent business relationship. It is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or the protection and enforcement of legal claims require longer retention.

Your rights

Under statutory provisions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent.

Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Austria: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.
